Solid foundation braces Spain

Article Abstract:

Growth in the real estate market in Spain that has driven the economy over the last ten years may be winding down. However financial blowback should not effect Spanish companies too greatly as they have a solid base in the global marketplace. Spain's economy grew on average of 3.6 percent each year over the past ten years (and is forecast to grow by 3.8 percent in 2007) compared with 1.5 percent for the European Union.
