Some changes in working practices over the past decade

Article Abstract:

One of the important features of the changing labour market had brought changes to a more flexible labour force due to changes like technological advances, ageing population, women working, and desire of workers to achieve a better work-life balance. Statistics has revealed that the proportion of the labour force that never did shift work remained stable but there was an increase in men and women doing shift working specially in the age group of 16-19 ages.
