Still coming in

Article Abstract:

Foreign investment in Britain has continued at high levels, despite concern that Britain's eing outside European monetary union could deter investors. The high value of pound sterling in relation to other European currencies is one problem for investors seeking to export to Europe, though financial services attracts most investment, and currency issues are less of a problem in this sector. There could still be a drop in foreign investment over the long term if Britain stays out of monetary union.
