There are some environmentalists who see humans as likely to suffer a population collapse and who are concerned about the impact of humans on other species to the extent that they think that humans should disappear. Genes impel humans to breed, and the human race will end at some time. Travel to other planets could help humans escape problems created by changes in the sun, but the end is inevitable. There are good arguments for voluntary extinction, but there are also practical difficulties.

The Alien Tort Claims Act has been used to bring 2 US class action suits against former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic for alleged war crimes. The law has also been used to sue other aliens accused of human rights abuses. The defendants usually fail to attend the trials, but the cases are recorded for history.
