Article Abstract:

UK property developers Simon Silver and David Rosen have worked together on several major projects, building up a reputation of producing quality finished products. Silver works is a director of Derwent Valley Holdings which was established during the 1980s. Derwent Valley operates a portfolio worth over 400 million pounds sterling in 1998. Rosen works for Pilcher Hersham which is based in the West End of London. Both men have a keen interest in the architectural side of property development.

Millennium programme deserves our support

Article Abstract:

The United Kingdom will invest more than any other country in the celebration of the millennium. With resources of up to 1.6 billion pounds sterling from the National Lottery, the Millennium Commission will use one billion pounds sterling to fund capital projects including a National Exhibition. The construction of the Dome will provide work for 2,000 people and a further 5,000 will find employment for the duration of the exhibition. Over 30 companies are discussing sponsorship.

Autodesk centres put you on course for the right CAD skills

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly widely recognized in the UK that architects require AutoCAD skills. Autodesk, which produces AutoCAD, has responded to this need by creating a network of excellent Autodesk Training Centres. These centres are managed by fully trained AutoCAD instructors who are familiar with latest products. Many of the centres are able to undertake skills assessment and productivity analysis before offering training recommendations.
