Stockholm designated itself as "Wireless Valley" to further entice Silicon Valley companies to establish research centers, which Microsoft and Intel have done. With increased presence by such companies, the Swedish government hopes to offer more services to all its citizens.

Riksbank plans to issue forecasts for its key rate

Article Abstract:

The Central Bank of Sweden is planning on issuing interest rate forecasts, only the third bank in the world to do so. The central bank is projecting a 3.5 percent rate for 2007 increasing to 3.75 percent by 2009.
