Talking to Sibilla: an approach to context dependent natural language comprehension

Article Abstract:

A pattern recognition approach is described which had been tested on natural language queries attached to a library management system. The study on natural language comprehension is intended to assess the meaning of sentences that belong to a specific set. The solution to allow a system to understand natural language sentences rests on the ability to transform the original form of natural language to a final form that can serve as a communication code for the system itself.
