Travel & tourism in Hungary

Article Abstract:

A number of trends have been observed in Hungary's travel and tourism industry. Convertible currency income from tourism reached about $1.2 billion in 1993, which accounted for 4% of GDP. However, the continued increase in tourism receipts also remains uncertain due to findings that tourists do not spend large amounts of money while in Hungary.
