In search of better route guidance instructions

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the use of in-vehicle route guidance and informations systems (IVRGIS) for older people and newly qualified drivers. Results show that elderly drivers responded better to less complex guidance directions, rather than full guidance directions, as the former provide them more time to make the association between the directions to be taken and the spatial location of these turns. For new drivers, however, wayfinding performance has decreased with the use of IVRGIS.

Fun for all the family

Article Abstract:

The layouts of the holiday villages Center Parcs Sherwood, Oasis, Center Parcs Elveden and Center Parcs Longleat are all similar. However, there are significant differences between these venues in other aspects. Many visitors to Oasis praise its forest location, but some complaints were made about the standard of service and about the expensive restaurants. Center Parcs Sherwood, where there was a very high level of client satisfaction, is the best choice for families, as it is very child-friendly.
