The gain game

Article Abstract:

Pro-Beijing parties have gained support in the recent legislative elections in Hong Kong, and much of the credit goes to Zeng Qinghong, who was responsible for the Communist PartyEs performance in Hong Kong elections. This success could make him a political rival of president and Communist Party general secretary Hu Jintao. It may be noted that Qinghong has promised stability and prosperity, which do not guarantee any political rights.
