The new marketing: what does 'customer focus' now mean?

Article Abstract:

The traditional marketing approach has been challenged in recent years by the new 'relationship marketing' model, which is still being developed. The new approach, which includes interaction marketing, database marketing and network marketing, is analysed to determine whether it is replacing or supplementing the traditional marketing model. The use of relationship marketing in the automotive sector and its emphasis on customer focus is considered and discussed.

Russians opt for car imports despite Lada maker's shuffle

Article Abstract:

New foreign car imports to Russia increased 60% through June 2007 compared to the first half of the previous year. Sales of Russian vehicle brands dropping by 23%, while sales of Russian-assembled foreign cars doubled. Russian automaker P/O AvtoVaz continues to manufacture around 750,000 vehicles per year.
