Sandwiches

Article Abstract:

The UK market for pre-packed sandwiches that includes takeaway and eat-in products grew by 7% in 1998 and is valued at approximately 2.8 billion pound sterling. The rise in consumption of sandwiches is driven by the trend of eating in the move. In addition, most UK citizens became more health conscious, and thus, preferred eating sandwiches than other snack foods and fast foods. New product innovation is also a factor that boosted the sales of sandwiches.
