Article Abstract:

Economic conditions in Asia, and particularly China, are of great concern because they are weak. Japan's economy is affected by the Jan 1995 Kobe earthquake, and China's economy is questionable as leader Deng Xiaoping is near death. Domestic policies will affect the global economy.
