Circling the inverse square
Article Abstract:
The contradictions found in the inverse square law lead to the discovery of quantum mechanics, and the contradictions between the quantum field theory and general relativity gave rise to the string theory. The string theory re-interprets the particles as small loops of strings, and enables the study of complete laws of nature. Unlike in the pre-gravity quantum theory, the role of gravity is essential in the string theory. Various aspects of these theories in terms of the force and distance principles of the inverse square law are presented.
