The zip code for success boosts productivity in Australia

Article Abstract:

Productivity levels are on the rise in Australia, as the country benefits from its highly efficient corporate environment. Statistics revealed that since 1990, Australia's productivity rate has been increasing by an average of 2%, buoyed by labor-market flexibility strategies. Experts attribute such gains to the ability of companies to manage labor and capital investments efficiently. They also believe that the adoption of innovative strategies, including just-in-time inventory, shielded the industry from the financial crisis which swept Asia in 1998.
