Too much insistence on 'tradition

Article Abstract:

An exhibition of contemporary Norwegian architecture is being held at the Royal Institute of British Architect's Architecture Centre in London, England, until Apr 12,1997. Some 50 projects built between 1990 and 1995 are represented by photographic overviews and drawings. However, while the projects are interesting in themselves, the exhibition understates their differences and none of the presentations carry enough detail to engage architects' interests.

AA's international success: The variety and richness of the AA's summer show is largely thanks to its role as a 'speaker's corner' for voices from overseas

Article Abstract:

The Architectural Association end of year show represents a festival of current architectural representation. Those who took part included artists, philosophers, historians, engineers and architects, with the AA acting as a type of speakers' corner. The AA has formed a number of new units over the past two years, run by practising architects drawn from several different European countries.
