Two GRP boats from French moulder - multipurpose Melcor II
Article Abstract:
Description of design and construction of Melcor II, an inshore fishing vessel with GRP hull is presented. The design and construction of Jimorhan, another GRP hulled purse seiner is also presented. Both the fishing vessels are built by French boat moulder, CNB Beneteau Peche. The equipments installed on the fishing vessels are also described.

The 2 - D electronic charter from MaxSea and a Simrad sonar are fitted to a 32 year old fishing vessel Notre Dame de la Jolie. The electronic navigational tools has helped the boat to perform at its best and resulted in a night's catch of 32 tons of fishes.
