SYNERGY LOG-IN BAGS ORDERS FOR ITMS

Synergy Log-In Systems Ltd of Chennai has got its first full functionality order from Global Trust Bank for its integrated treasury management system (ITMS). The securities module of ITMS has started operating at the global finance treasury of Citibank in Mumbai. The company has also got an order for a corporate treasury version of ITMS from Hindustan Lever Ltd. The company plans to export its ITMS to Africa, West Asia, South Asia and South-East Asia and is working on a distributor strategy. (khr)

APPLE COMPUTER MERGES INDIAN OPERATIONS

Apple Computer has merged its India liaison office with its wholly-owned software development subsidiary in India. Mr Naresh Kumar Thapa, the managing director of the liaison office will be in charge of the merged entity. Apple has also tied-up with Electronic Resources Ltd for distribution of Apple products in India. (uh)
