US/FRANCE: SKYTEAM TO REINFORCE FREIGHT ABILITY

The two principle members of the international air alliance, Air France and Delta would be considering extending their alliance into the air freight sector. This would be carried out with the creation of a new joint freight company, founded by and comprised of personnel from both Air France Cargo, and Delta Air Logistics. The new entity would market their capabilities and products from US departure points, selling the world (except Canada) to American customers.
