Un-stodgy insurance sales

Article Abstract:

BELAIRdirect, a Montreal, Quebec-based insurance firm that specializes in selling its products directly to customers, is embarking in an aggressive marketing strategy that stays away from stodgy and conservative marketing common among insurance companies in the province. BELAIRdirect's marketing efforts make use of all forms of mass media media to reach its target audiences. Marketing strategies of the company include giving anti-theft devices to car-insurance policyholders and giving those who receive anti-ignition devices with premium discounts. The company also gives home insurance policyholders with home security system from Videotron Security Systems of Montreal for free.

Les Ailes takes flight

Article Abstract:

Les Ailes de la Mode plans to establish a flagship store into Eatons' former department store in Montreal, Quebec. It may well be a marketing coup for Les Ailes since the block where the former Eatons' building is located is also one of the most-heavily travelled in all of Canada. Les Ailes intends to transform the interior of the building into a multi- storey atrium. It will occupy the entire third and fourth floors and one- third of the ground and second floors.
