Utilities: expert hands make light work

Article Abstract:

UK companies can benefit from liberalization of gas and electricity markets if they consume enough. Gas prices are dropping which is prompting rationalization in the industry. There are different elements in gas prices and each can be negotiated. Contracts to supply electricity tend to be of two types, fixed price or pool contracts. Quotes are often prepared using different formats and expert advice may be needed in order to compare different offers.
