WPP Group PLC and Publicis Groupe S.A. continue to battle it out over Cordiant Communications Group PLC, with WPP raising its offer to pounds sterling 246 million, topping Publicis' offer of pounds sterling 244 million. Publicis in turn has teamed with Cerberus Capital Management LP with plans for the two companies to continue buying Cordiant debt.
