Article Abstract:

With the U.S. technology market heading downward and losing its dependency on Asian imports, the major companies to invest in are utility companies. Specifically, Hong Kong & China Gas, Hongkong Electric, and CLP. All three companies derive from Hong Kong 90% of total earnings, and are liquid enough to support large stock investments.

Stocks of Hong Kong residential property developers are becoming less expensive, but if investors start to buy there is no guarantee that prices will go back up. Even real estate tycoons are not purchasing shares, and market indicators such as low interest rates and deflation are not boosting building prices.
