Whose body of evidence?

Article Abstract:

There is a need for forensic science to improve its methods in certain areas such as handwriting analysis, voice identification, and bite marks. Some areas of forensic science such as toxicology are reliable, and they tend to be derived from other areas of science. Courts are becoming less willing to take forensic science evidence on trust. The FBI is seeking to improve methods in a number of ways such as using qualified scientists in laboratories, and using peer review and an evaluation system.

William Rehnquist, keeper of the order

Article Abstract:

Chief justice, William Rehnquist, will be presiding over the US Senate during the impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton. Senators tend to take a while to make decisions, and there is a hope for a swift trial, and that Rehnquist can achieve this. There are limits to the extent to which he can control the trial since he can be overruled by senators at any moment, in line with the constitution. His role may still be important, despite the limitations.
