Wooing the WEU: defence policy
Article Abstract:
The WEU was conceived as a vehicle for a unified Western European military policy. Some now want to strengthen it so that it can become the basis for an all-European defence force. The pros and cons of a separate western Europe military entity at this time, is discussed.
