Zoellick to be named as Rice's deputy

Article Abstract:

It is expected that newly-appointed U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, whose Senate confirmation hearing is still to be held, will appoint current U.S. Trade Representative Robert B. Zoellick to be her deputy at the State Department. As Mr. Zoellick was seen as a leading candidate to replace outgoing head of the World Bank, James Wolfensohn, his expected appointment to the State Department is raising questions as to who the administration will appoint to the World Bank post instead.
