Business owners need to plan for succession

Article Abstract:

Businesses should think on succession planning much in advance to avoid problems in future. Succession planning means deciding in advance who will run the company after the owner dies or whom to sell the company, and this should be done in consultation with a lawyer or accountant because of legal and tax issues involved.

Small-business owners might consider tax-filing extension

Small-business owners who have not started working on their returns should seriously consider filing their 4868s. IRS Form 4868 is an application for automatic extension of time to file US individual income tax returns, which gives the taxpayers four extra months to submit their returns.

Organization key to relocation: Moving a business is more stressful and difficult than moving a home
