A Horsham-based division of electronics giant Motorola Inc. called Motorola Broadband Communication Sector is manufacturing a box that replaces a cable box, DVD player, VCR, and HDTV signal converter. The Motorola's DCT6208 device would take MP3 music files from a computer and play them over a home entertainment system.

Media, Penn.-based PowerWeb Technologies Inc. has introduced an Web-based energy management software product that conserves energy usage. PowerWeb Technologies, which installs electronic meters at customer's operations, said it can save companies thousands of dollars annually.
