Lufthansa flights resume here tomorrow
Article Abstract:
Lufthansa German Airlines will resume daily nonstop service to Frankfurt from Philadelphia International Airport. The flights will use Airbus A340 jets, and are scheduled to depart Philadelphia at 6:40 p.m., arriving in Frankfurt at 8:05 a.m. the next day. Westbound flights are scheduled to take off at 1:20 p.m., arriving in Philadelphia at 3:45 p.m. Lufthansa had stopped serving Philadelphia International Airport seven years ago, because of the turbulence in the travel field, but the airline market between Philadelphia and Europe is not the same today as it was from 1965 to 1992.

Langhorne firm takes smears out of fingerprinting
Article Abstract:
Langhorne, PA-based Digital Descriptor Systems Inc. produces a touchless system for taking digital fingerprints. The system works faster and more reliably than the old one based on ink-and-paper cards, said the company's president, Garrett U. Cohn. The advantage of the new system is that it enables digital records to be stored, shared electronically, and immediately transmitted. These features are more difficult with the old system.
