VWR, looking to buy, found itself bought

Article Abstract:

After prolonged negotiations VWR Scientific Products Corp. of West Chester PA has agreed to be acquired by Merck KGAA rather than acquiring the German company' laboratory supply business. Merck paid $535 million to obtain the 51% of VWR that it did not already own. VWR is a leading supplier of laboratory equipment. VWR's staff in West Chester may grow larger because of the takeover.

DeLuca, Berwind to take over Realen Homes
