AF's Moseley urges realism in aircraft procurement plans

Article Abstract:

The US Air Force chief of staff Gen. Michael Moseley has stated that the Air Force should be realistic about budget pressures and be ready to think in terms of trade-offs in acquiring new platforms even though recapitalization of its aging fleet is very important. Moseley believes that the Air Force should try to reduce the cost of logistics and other expense burdens and emphasizes on the value of interoperability and joint operations both among the US and the US and coalition forces.
