Cebrowski, Albaugh outline Pentagon procurement needs

Article Abstract:

Arthur Cebrowski, director of force transformation in the office of the Secretary of Defense has remarked on transforming the acquisition process and has an opinion that the Department of Defense and contractors must work together to provide new capabilities to the armed services. Jim Albaugh, CEO and president of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems stated that private contractors are more suitable to perform this task rather than going for the military to make an attempt.

The U.S. President Bush took a pledge of fiscal responsibility to limit spending, and reducing budget deficits. This has raised many questions, but he has promised to provide resources needed for fighting and winning the war on terror.

United technologies '03 profits up 6 percent; 4th qtr up 9 percent

Article Abstract:

The profit of United Technologies, the sixth largest defense contractor showed a continuous upward trend since 2003.The profit of the company has improved due to increase in revenue, and reduction in the cost.
