Many insiders have taken advantage of the low share prices of Wholesome and Hearty Foods Inc. as the company gears up for a 10% increase in retail distribution. Six insiders have been reported to have purchased a total of 13,500 shares priced between $7 to $7.5 each between Feb. 20 and 29, 1996. Wholesome's Dir. Paul Wenner purchased 5,000 shares while exercising an option on 625,000 shares at $1 each without selling any.

The price of America Online's stocks recovered by 50% since Nov. 1996 as the company adopted measures designed to prevent the further decline in prices. These include the expansion of customer base, improvements in customer satisfaction and the launching of new product offerings. However, the moves failed to stop company executives such as David Cole, Stephen Case and Theodore Lonsis from disposing their shares.
