Kuhlman Corp. - KUH

Article Abstract:

Kuhlman Corp.'s acquisition of Communications Cable Inc. is expected to reinforce the company's existing Coleman Cable unit. This move resulted in the sudden resurgence of the company's stock prices, climbing over the $15 mark it set last Oct. 1994. Observers say the renewed strength of Kuhlman stocks comes from the insider trading that has been happening in the last few months. There have been six Kuhlman insiders reported to have purchased 37,000 shares, as well as one insider who exercised his options for 3,250 shares.

Insider picture at GE reveals a shift to selling

Article Abstract:

There is a slight, almost unnoticeable change in insider trading behavior at General Electric Co (GE). Seven insiders collectively divested 188,000 shares at $67-$78.50 a share between Nov. 13, 1997 and Feb. 10, 1998. This is a substantially high amount of insider trading in securities for GE in a four-month span. Insiders at GE hardly ever sell their shares and this particular collective divestment is large in comparison to historical data.
