Are you listening?

Article Abstract:

Accountants should cultivate the ability of listening to their clients to keep them and gain others. There are three ways whereby practitioners can make listening an uplifting experience. These are: liking the person being talked to, focusing only on the needs and interests of the other party and giving full attention to everything that the client is saying. An elaboration of these ways is given. Techniques to loosen up clients and make them express their concerns during speaking encounters are also presented.
