BPI (re)makes history with museum replicas

Article Abstract:

Boston, MA-based Boston Photo Imaging appears to have found an additional niche to further generate revenues. The company acquired a 400-piece archive of replicas of the world's best paintings from Museum Replicas in Cambridge, MA. It has since then added more than 100 works of art to the collection. The company employsa variety of techniques and inks to faithfully create an image of an original art work, then mounts the replica on Gator board and laminates them.

For instance, Pixel Magic Imaging and Digital Now, use a B2B approach in helping their customers devise a succesful B2C operation. Through its MyPhotoLab.com site, Pixel Magic offers its photo lab customers a low- or no-cost opportunity to reach their customers online.

BlueLight.com maintains free Internet service

Article Abstract:

BlueLight.com, the e-commerce arm of Kmart Corp headquartered in San Francisco, CA, has disclosed that it signed partnership agreements with Internet access providers, PSINet Inc and WorldNet, to provide a portion of the infrastructure support for Bluelight's free Internet service. The new agreements replaced the local dial-up access services formerly provided by Genuity.
