Carlson Co has expanded from a seller of Gold Bond trading stamps to a worldwide business involved in sales incentive services, travel and hospitality, employing 98,000 people. Sales at Carlson Co have grown from $5,000 in 1937 to a current multibillion dollar total. Carlson, who is 79 years old, continues to head the company.
