Borders debuts Title Sleuth Kiosk

Article Abstract:

Borders Inc has launched the Title Sleutch Kiosk to allow shoppers to search for a book, compact disc or video and obtain a map of its location in the store. According to Borders Executive VP Mary Jean Raab, the Sleuth Kiosk provides customers with an easy interactive way to locate a specific item and find their way around the store. Raab adds that the Title Sleuth Kiosk offers recommendations and lists for best-selling products, new releases, and Borders Essentials in more than 400 categories selected by Borders' expert buyers.

Lego Soccer Kiosk featured at Toys 'R' Us

Article Abstract:

LEGO Systems Inc has developed a soccer pallet display, called Lego Soccer Kiosk, as a tie-in to the Lego/MLS Soccer Experience Truck Tour that was traveling across the US to different Toys 'R' Us locations. Integration of an interactive element that is easily accessed by children and high quality graphics makes this display different from typical pallet displays. The Lego Soccer Kiosk was created for Lego by Triangle Display Group of Philadelphia, PA.

Earful opens audiobooks 'Superstore'

Article Abstract:

Earful of Books Inc has opened its third superstore in Redmond, WA, which is co-located at a Blockbuster Entertainment Corp's video site. Under an agreement with Blockbuster, Earful is allowed up to 150 corporate and franchise units to be co-located at Blockbuster's premier sites in the US by mid-2003. Earful founder and Pres Paul Rush claimed that the store will be among the first to offer customers a 'sound dome' to preview listening choices.
