Article Abstract:

Experts reveal that though several organizations rely on software and systems to help them to comply with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), things might not be so simple when the new scheme comes into force in April 2007. The new CIS is accounts payable rather than payroll and affected businesses are hence advised to examine the accounting software they have in place to see if it can be made CIS-compatible.
