Czech Republic: The proceeds of 10 poll and market research agencies increased by 16% to CEK 698 mil in 2000 compared to 1999. The highest proceeds were generated by the agency Aisa (Czech Republic) in 2000, CEK 258 mil. The second position was held by the agency GfK (Czech Republic) with proceeds of CEK 151 mil and the third position by the agency Sofres-Factum (Czech Republic) with proceeds of CEK 68 mil in 2000. The agencies are members of the Association of Market Research and Opinion Poll Agencies.

Zeas (Stare Hradiste, Czech Republic), agricultural company, saw a gross profit of nearly CEK 1.34 mil in 2000, CEK 1.08 mil more compared to 1999. The firm should transfer CEK 236,000 from the 2000 profit to its social fund and CEK 1.1 mil to its reserve fund. Its total revenues were CEK 119 mil in 2000, nearly CEK 780,000 more compared to 1999. ZEAS has a stock of more than CEK 67 mil.
