Cover Girl display promotes fall palette

The fall 1998 color promotion of Procter and Gamble's Cover Girl Cosmetics line has been themed 'Bewitch Bejewel Bedazzle' and will be supported with advertising and synergistic in-store merchandising. Procter and Gamble noted that its color collections had registered explosive growth since 1997 and expects the trend to continue in fall 1998. Thus, it is placing the full might of its marketing machine behind Cover Girl's promotion to achieve sustained category growth and encourage multiple and impulse purchases.

Caboodle features teen boutique

Article Abstract:

'Caboodles' brand owner Plano Molding Co has provided Shopko stores with four-ft and two-ft display units that create the appearance and atmosphere of a teen boutique. The four-ft planogram section carries Caboodles cosmetics, while the two-ft section features Caboodles cosmetic boxes and bags. Plano Molding plans to add a new display unit featuring its new Caboodles-brand bath and body line of products in fall 2000 and the Caboodles-brand hair accessories collection at a later date.

Display unit bring new VS Sassoon line to mass

Procter and Gamble is introducing its new VS Sassoon product line in mass outlets on free-standing display units made of wood painted in rich cherry and black tones. The displays carry 31 skus and include flip books that instruct cnsumers on the optimal uses of the products. They are designed to give the line a salon-like appearance and come in a number of different types. The VS Sassoon product line targets consumers who want to buy upscale products at the mass market.
