DoD delays Marine One selection

Article Abstract:

Pentagon procurement officials have been unable to decide upon the winner of the Marine One VXX contract thereby delaying the selection of a replacement for the Marine One presidential transport helicopter fleet. The two teams vying for the contract are Team US101 with Lockheed Martin Corp. and Bell Helicopter Textron of the U.S. and Agusta Westland, an Italian-U.K. firm offering a variant of the European EH101 helicopter while Sikorsky Aircraft is offering the VH-92 helicopter with a new-design.
