Dollar declines sharply, but has further to fall.

Article Abstract:

The sharp decline and the fears of continuous devaluation of the dollar at an unknown pace are discussed. The dollar slides as the private-sector foreign investment in the United States (US) treasury and agency securities dries up with the falling US interest rates, causing outflow of money from the US.

The Chinese economy has slowed down from the growth rate of 11.3 percent to 3.8 percent between1998 and 1990. It is believed that, of the major currencies, the yen remains the most vulnerable near term to hawkish US data and potential further China uncertainty.
