Museum celebrates 160 years of photography

Article Abstract:

The International Photography Hall of Fame and Muesum will feature various collections of prints amd hundreds of cameras and other photographic equipment to celebrate the 160 years of image-making process. One of them is the world's biggest 360-degree photograph of the Grand Canyon created by Minolta Corp. Aside from the photograph, the event will also offer a 26-by-6 foot, one piece transparency Duratrans image.

Advanced Photo System is promoted in worldwide media

Article Abstract:

Six camera manufacturers have come together to launch an advertising campaign to generate awareness of the Advanced Photo System (APS). Canon USA Inc, Eastman Kodak Co, Fuji Photo Film USA Inc, Minolta Corp, Nikon Inc and Noritsu America Corp hope to boost awareness of the APS by making the triangle and ball logo ubiquitous. The ads are promoting the APS as 'the easy way to take better pictures.'
