Earth, receive an honored past

Article Abstract:

France's new Vendee Historical Museum has been designed in such a way that it appears to melt into the green expanse of a river valley outside the village of Lucssur-Boulogne, where it is located. The museum's sedum roof appears to approaching visitors as a low-lying geometric hill, a series of triangular grassy folds punctuated with skylights and beneath this is housed the exhibition hall.
