Emergent behavior of growing knowledge about molecular interactions

Article Abstract:

Several large-scale properties inherent to the growing body of knowledge about molecular interactions is analyzed using interactions among different types of macromolecules and small molecules as a field of interest, automated text-mining technology and a large collection of full-text research articles. Results reveal that the analysis highlights strong similarities between the biomedical knowledge growth and the evolution of scientific collaboration netwdorks.

Navigating US conflict-of-interest rules when commercializing research

The biomedical researchers and institutions in US have to adhere to a number of policies and rules that restrict their potential to commercialize research when they are students. In the biomedical research many a times the financial interest of the researchers especially in the initial stages are generally administered by the research institution that varies from institution to institution.
