Ergonomics in product development: a personal view

Article Abstract:

Ergonomic processes are employed in two major ways which are to do basic ergonomic research that contributes to the body of ergonomic information and and to help develop and design products. The earlier activity is descriptive and the latter is predictive. An important aim of design and development is to be list precisely the design needs for a product not yet in existence. The formation of any product passes through a number of phases in its life to which ergonomics can make significant contribution.

Ergodynamics: theory and applications

Article Abstract:

Ergodynamics is the use of the transformation dynamics theory in ergonomics. Ergodynamics could help create a theory behind ergonomic theory and practice. This science studies ways to organize and change work. The three laws of ergodynamics are listed and their application is summarized.
