Genome sequence of the bioplastic-producing "Knallgas" bacterium Ralstonia eutropha H16

Article Abstract:

The complete genome sequence of the two chromosomes of Ralstonia eutropha H16 is reported. The H2-oxidizing lithoautotrophic bacterium Ralstonia eutropha H16 is a metabolically versatile organism capable of subsisting, in the absence of organic growth substrates, on H2 and CO2 as its sole sources of energy and carbon.

Complete genome sequence of the acetic acid bacterium gluconobacter oxydans

Article Abstract:

The report of the complete genome sequence of Glucobacter oxydans 621H is presented. The genome data provides a rich source for metabolic reconstruction of the pathways leading to industrially important products derived from sugars and alcohols.
