How to make search engines work for your site

Article Abstract:

Search engines each rank and index Internet pages using a set of codes or algorithms that can be changed at any time. Companies who wish to rank high on search engine lists should focus on their title tags, the first paragraph of the site's HTML text, the rest of the text on the pages, the number/frequency of specific words and, for some search engines, the texts within meta keyword and meta description tags. However, it should be noted that the significance of these five factors differs from one search engine to another and can differ from month to month for all search engines.
