Article Abstract:

Companies where insiders have been buying and selling securities in large amounts are listed. The companies are ranked according to the amount of the securities that have been sold or bought by insiders. Companies where insiders have been buying shares in large amounts include Viacom Inc., Conseco Inc. and Summit Medical Systems Inc. On the other hand, companies where large volumes of shares have been disposed by insiders include Lin Television Corp., Koger Equity Inc. and Danaher Corp.

Some executives of ValuJet Inc. have announced their 144 intention to sell their shares following a two point increase in the company's stocks. The FAA's order allowing the firm to continue operations had caused the sudden price increase. A total of 1,910,000 shares will be sold by Vice Chairman Maurice Gallagher, founder Timothy Flynn, Officer Michael D. Acks and VP Stephen Nevin.
